Over three days, attendees can immerse themselves in the richness of Indian art, music, dance, and fashion. Notable performances by celebrated artists Shankar Mahadevan and Shreya Ghoshal promise to enchant audiences.
The 'नीता मुकेश अंबानी कल्चरल सेंटर (NMACC)' will host a weekend event at New York's Lincoln Center from September 12 to 14, aiming to showcase Indian art, music, dance, fashion, and handicrafts on a global stage. Led by Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani, this three-day cultural festival marks the international debut of NMACC, which was established in Mumbai in 2023 as a multifaceted cultural hub. The event will feature performances by Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, and Rishabh Sharma, along with a presentation of NMACC's production, "The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation," directed by Feroz Abbas Khan. In addition to ticketed events, Damrosch Park will offer free activities, including yoga sessions, panel discussions on cricket, Bollywood dance workshops, and a 'Swadesh Marketplace' displaying Indian crafts.
