ICC Champions Trophy 2025 | India vs New Zealand Match Highlights | Cricket
Rohit Sharma-led India continued the imperious form and beat New Zealand by 44 runs in the final group stage encounter of the ICC Champions Trophy in Dubai. The outcome helped India finish top of Group A and set a semi-final date with Australia. Varun Chakaravarthy, playing his first match of the tournament, emerged as the standout player from the Indian camp. The mystery spinner claimed five wickets as India bundled out New Zealand for 205 in 45.3 overs after piling 249/9 on the board. Earlier, a star-studded batting line-up struggled to get going after being invited to bat first. India lost their top 3 - Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli - cheaply inside the first powerplay. Gill was dismissed for 2(7), Rohit for 15 off 17, while Kohli's stay in the middle was cut short on 11(14) after an incredible catch by Glenn Phillips. Axar Patel and Shreyas Iyer then added 98 runs for the fourth wicket but consumed a lot of deliveries in the process. Pandya then dragged the innings forward and was dismissed for run-a-ball 45 in the final over. The Black Caps in response got off to a decent start and added 44/1 at the end of first powerplay. Williamson dug deep and scored 81 but didn't find the support he needed from his teammates.#indvsnz #indiavsnewzealand #championstrophy2025 #championstrophy #cricket Subscribe: https://bit.ly/moneycontrolyoutubeFollow us:Visit https://www.moneycontrol.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/moneycontrol/Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/moneycontrolcomInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/moneycontrolcom/
